Processing: Image acquisition, DFR, alignment, and median combine in CCDSoft. Levels, curves, unsharp mask in Photoshop. Other Notes: M81 and M82 are magnitude 6.90 and 8.40 (respectively) galaxies in Ursa Major. There are actually numerous galaxies visible in this image, as faint as magnitude 16.80. NGC3077, magnitude 9.90, is visible at top center. (Try viewing the large image and adjusting your monitor's brightness to see the fainter galaxies).
